Seviour Insurance was established in October 1995 by retired founder Stewart Seviour in Benalmadena Costa on Spain’s Costa del Sol. Originally working for Pearl Assurance in Somerset, and later with Royal Insurance at their Malaga branch, it was this background that gave him invaluable insight and experience of the local expatriate community.
When the opportunity arose, Stewart decided to alter his professional path by setting up his own insurance agency which, armed with the knowledge amassed over several years attending to and understanding the expatriate market in Spain, was a success from the outset. Since its first day of existence, Seviour Insurance has not stopped growing.
Seviour Insurance has gone from strength to strength since its debut in the expat market. Every day, more and more expatriates enjoy the security and service provided by Seviour Insurance as it continues to move forward.

October 2003 saw the inauguration of the Alhaurin el Grande office, which has since enjoyed enormous success covering the needs of expatriates living in the rural areas of Andalusia, particularly for customers living in the Guadalhorce valley.

As well as insurance products we offer a variety of other services, including re-registration of foreign-plated vehicles, Spanish vehicle ownership transfer, driving licence exchange and translating and interpreting.
